Culinary Tourism - A New Angle for Gunnison-Crested Butte

Culinary tourism is the hottest niche to emerge within the travel industry in many years. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Valley has an excellent base of restaurants, hands-on workshops and culinary events to promote itself as a unique and memorable food and drink destination for visitors.

I've eaten at Garlic Mike's, pictured here, and it is definitely some of the best Italian food this side of New Jersey!
If you like food, be sure to attend the Crested Butte Tour de Forks events and the Crested Butte Wild Mushroom Festival which are 2 not-to-be missed eating events in the Gunnison Valley!

I am interested in purchasing gift cards for friends in the Gunnison-Crested Butte area. Garlic Mike's sounds interesting and I'd like to know about the range of dinner entree and lunch costs.
